A Könnyű rovat által végzett felmérésben fontosnak tartottuk, hogy csak 2004-es lemezek szerepelhessenek, így sajnos több olyan album is kiesett, amelyek felénk csak 2004-ben váltak ismertté, noha a világ más pontjain már korábban megjelentek. Ezúton szeretnénk tehát elnézést kérni az emiatt diszkvalifikált művészektől, elsősorban Kelistől (Tasty), Regina Spektortól (Soviet Kitsch) és a Maroon 5-tól (Songs About Jane), akiknek albumai többek listáján is szerepeltek volna, ha szabályaink ezt nem akadályozták volna meg.
